COVID-19 and Reopening Retirement Homes:

The home should be free of COVID-19,

Your COVID-19 test is negative 24-hrs before moving into the home,

Then you're required to complete a 14-day self-isolation period,

Followed by a second negative COVID-19 test upon completion of the self-isolation period,

You're allowed one essential visitor (e.g., family caregiver) during the self-isolation period. See future video for Ontario's visitor guidance, and
-
Upon completion of the self-isolation period, you can have two caregivers/essential visitors and two general visitors at any time.
